Pollinators

This collection of seed blends are especially beneficial to pollinators, both native and non-native pollinators.

#DidYouKnow there are over 4,000 kinds of native bees in the United States? And the honey bee is NOT one of them. The honey bee gets credit for a lot of work, however native bees, such as the bumblebee, are specialized pollinators. Without the bumblebee, we would not have tomatoes (pasta sauce, salsa, ketchup, pizza sauce, etc.) or blueberries! Native bees are the unrecognized pollinators of the world, and this seed mix will provide food for both native bees and the honey bees of the US.

In addition to native bees, many species of pollinators exist in the form of wasps, moths, birds, butterflies, beetles, and flies.
